ചിത്രം നിരീക്ഷിക്കൂ.

✅ In which direction will the shadow of the tree be see in 

the morning ❓

The shadow will spread towards the west and the shadow is longer.

 ✅ മരത്തിൻെറ നിഴൽ രാവിലെ ഏത് ദിശയിലായിരിക്കും  കാണുക? 

നിഴലിന് നീളം കൂടും , പടിഞ്ഞാറ് ദിശയിലേക്കായിരിക്കും നിഴൽ വ്യാപിക്കുക. 

✅ In which direction will the shadow of this  tree be  in the 

evening❓

 The shadow will spread towards the  east and the shadow is longer.

✅ ഈ മരത്തിൻെറ നിഴൽ വേകുന്നേരം  ഏത് ദിശയിലായിരിക്കും ?

നിഴലിന് നീളം കൂടും , കിഴക്ക്  ദിശയിലേക്കായിരിക്കും നിഴൽ വ്യാപിക്കുക.

✅ What change can you see in it at noon❓

  The shadow will appear just below the tree and the shadow is shorter.

 ✅ നിഴലിന് ഉച്ചയ്ക്ക് എന്തുമാറ്റമാണ് ഉണ്ടാകുന്നത് ?

നിഴലിന് നീളം കുറയും , മരച്ചുവട്ടിലാകും നിഴൽ കാണപ്പെടുക.

 ✅ Will the shape of the shadow be the same at all time❓ 

Let's do a simple experiment .

  ✅ ഒരു വസ്തുവിന് എപ്പോഴും ഒരേ ആകൃതിയിലുള്ള നിഴലാണോ ഉണ്ടാകുന്നത് ? ഒരു ലഘുപരീക്ഷണം ചെയ്തുനോക്കാം

 

Materials :  Pen, cricket ball piece of glass, Instrument box, 

                    plate,steel glass, Foot ball.

സാമഗ്രികൾ : പേന , ക്രിക്കറ്റ് ബോൾ, ചില്ല് , ഇൻസ്ട്രമെൻറ് ബോക്സ്, പ്ലേറ്റ്, 

                    സ്റ്റീൽഗ്ലാസ് , ഫുട്ബോൾ .

Procedure  : Hold each object against the wall in different 

                     ways and light the torch onto them. Tabulate 

                     your observations. 

പരീക്ഷണരീതി :ഓരോ വസ്തുവും ചുമരിനുനേരെ പലരീതിയിൽ പിടിച്ച് 

                    അവയിലേക്ക് ടോ‍ര്‍ച്ച് പ്രകാശിപ്പിക്കൂ.

ഫുട്ബോൾ	രൂപം മാറുന്നില്ല
ക്രിക്കറ്റ് ബോൾ	രൂപം മാറുന്നില്ല
ഇൻസ്ട്രമെൻറ് ബോക്സ്	രൂപം മാറുന്നുണ്ട്
പ്ലേറ്റ്	രൂപം മാറുന്നുണ്ട്
സ്റ്റീൽഗ്ലാസ്	രൂപം മാറുന്നുണ്ട്
ചില്ല്	നിഴൽ രൂപപ്പെടുന്നില്ല

No, All opaque objects forms shadows

❓എല്ലാ വസ്തുക്കൾക്കും നിഴൽ ഉണ്ടാകുന്നുണ്ടോ?

ഇല്ല , അതാര്യവസ്തുക്കൾ മാത്രമാണ് നിഴൽ സ‍ൃഷ്ടിക്കുക.

❓ On which side of the source of light is the shadow 

formed ?

 No, All o Shadow forms in the direction opposite to that of 

the source of light.

❓നിഴൽ രൂപപ്പെടുന്നത് പ്രകാശസ്രോതസ്സിൻെറ ഏതു വശത്താണ് ?

പ്രകാശസ്രോതസ്സിൻെറ എതിര്‍ദിശയിലാകും നിഴൽ രൂപപ്പെടുക.

shadows of the same shape ?

• Football , Cricket ball 

• Only spherical objects always form circular shadow.
  

❓എപ്പോഴും ഒരേ ആകൃതിയിലുള്ള നിഴൽ രൂപ്പെട്ടത് ഏതെല്ലാം വസ്തുക്കൾ ഉപയോഗിച്ചാണ് ?

•  ഫുട്ബോൾ, ക്രിക്കറ്റ് ബോൾ 

• ഗോളാകൃതിയിലുള്ള വസ്തുക്കൾ എപ്പോഴും വൃത്താകൃതിയിലുള്ള നിഴലാണ് ഉണ്ടാകുന്നത്.

 ✅ The Earth , the Moon and other celestial bodies are opaque objects Do they form shadows ?

The Earth , the Moon do not allow sunlight to pass through it. Hence shadow is formed on the other side  

 

 ✅ What is the shape of the Earth's shadow? 

It looks like a cone ice cream cup

 

 ✅ What are the facts you have understood about the Earth's shadows?

Being an opaque objects, the Earth forms its shadow .

The shadows of the Earth is always formed in the direction opposite to the Sun . 

The Earth's shadow gradually diminishes and finally disappears as it moves  away.
